RSA for Apple IOS Devices - Quick Start Guide

BEFORE YOU BEGIN:

  • Familiarize yourself with the 'Terms to Remember' on the RSA Support Main page.
  • You must have an active e-mail account on your iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch.
  • You have already received the e-mail from 'RSA_Admin@cablevision.com' containing your 'token seed file'.
  • Be sure your clicked the 'Activation Link' in that e-mail. Your (soft) token will remain disabled until you clicked that link.
  • You MUST have an iTunes App Store account.
  • You have access to a PC with internet access.
    • You need to set a PIN code before you can use RSA SecurID to generate a 'Passcode' to access the VPN. It is much easier to do this on a separate device (PC) than to be switching between the RSA App and Browser on your Apple IOS Device.

Quick Guide

  11. Now that your PIN is set, you should 'Test Your Token' again, this time with a Passcode. Wait for the code you entered in step 8 to expire, and the press the Arrow button in the upper left hand corner to go back to the 'Enter PIN' screen.
